In A Mood

I’ve not been in the mood for writing lately … I spent Saturday at a friends’ house hanging out with a bunch of my friends, their kids and husbands. Then, Sunday us girls went out for lunch and a movie (”Baby Mama”). I had a ton of fun, and so did Xander (and my hubby). The problem is - I’m so freakin’ tired that I can’t even type out funny details or anything! I spent all of today (the rainy Monday it was) either sleeping or sitting on the couch playing Sims2. I think I picked up exactly 3 pieces of trash and 5 articles of clothing off the floor. Didn’t do laundry. Didn’t do dishes. Just sat. And sat and sat and sat. We had dinner at the mall and met up with Chrissy and her kids. Ate, played … shopped (I needed some diapers and milk - left with more of course) … then came home. Now? Sitting on my butt, blogging and downloading things for Sims2. I’m going to play again if I don’t crash (which I might just do since I am exhausted). I’d forgotten just how tiring the first “trimester” is … I feel like a bump on a log! I don’t even feel like eating (but I am always hungry, so I do) - so I don’t need any Phentermine or anything like that. Caffeine is a no-no also … Which sucks because I NEED IT! Plus, my biggest craving right now? Dr. Pepper! Sheesh …

Perez Hilton Announces Fashion Line

Gossip “Queen” Perez Hilton announced Wednesday that he will be designing a fashion line to be sold at Hot Topic stores! The line, which debuts on June 6, will range in price from $1.75 to $46, and will include products like Gossip Gangster Flip Flops, Perezcious Pink and Purple Lip Gloss and P-Nasty Shades–just to name a few.

Hilton claims that his line will be very conscious of his audience and not just another celebrity line. You can bet his line will have tons of pink, bling and skulls! Sounds like something I will personally LOVE! I’m excited, how about you?

Sheep! I LOVE Sheep!

Misa the Sheep - Gifts Define
I adore little handmade critters, well really handmade anything! I love that someone took the time to think up a little creation and put their heart and soul into making it. I love quilts, handmade clothes, and stuffed animals. They make me smile! So, I was happy to find a website that specializes in handmade items and décor. I have a lot of friends with little ones and ones who are “expecting” (me included!) The website is Gifts Define – “adorable matters – unique indollgences.” Its chock full of super cute critters and dolls that are all handmade and just adorable! I received one of their little handmade sheep - her name is Misa and she’s just adorable! She came on a little chain for hanging and also a little sketch on a button and a bookmark. She’s so cute, she might just end up with me and not Xander! I just LOVE sheep! Maybe the new baby will get her in it’s room with some other sheep. Did I mention I love sheep!

Gifts Define has other beautiful items to take a look at also including a mobile that’s just TOO CUTE!! Seriously, check it out - it’s called the “Storybook PetPals Mobile” and it just makes me want to go *SQUEE!*

Oh! Can’t forget the “Pregnancy Keepsake Bird” - awwww!!!! Okay, enough lol …. I have this feeling this crazy girlieness is going to continue for the next .. oh … 9 months? :)

It’s Only Wednesday?

Seriously? How is this week going so slooooowwwwllllyyyy?? I’m so exhausted! We ran some errands today, I got my hair dyed (yes, pregnant .. I know but I was like, eff it - seriously, if I don’t do it NOW I’ll never be able to) and ran to the mall with the boys. Got some shorts (I NEEDED shorts!) and then went to Golden Corral for some crab cakes (well, me … I like crab cakes). They were way too salty though. They had jumbo and popcorn shrimp though, yum! Ate too much, but that’s okay.

I forgot to call Tricare today to make my first (paperwork) OB appointment. Heh, I’m already effing this pregnancy up aren’t I? ;)

Alan seriously wants a girl. Like, wow … seriously. When I think of “a girl” I keep thinking of my friends’ two little ones, Kira and Mattie (just because we spend the most time with that particular friend). Little girls …. Dresses, hairbows, long hair to brush …. Constantly saying “Put down your dress I can see your panties!!) lol ….

Mattie wants a new column for her birthday “because mommy broke the last one” …. I don’t think she was talking about fiberglass columns though. Why a three year old wants a column though, I will never know. Xander asks for some odd things also though.

All Work and No Play

Screw that, even “parents” need fun sometimes! Alan and I took Xander over to my friends house last night so that the kids could all play (there were a total of 10 including the babies) and the parents could eat (lasagna, yum!), b.s., hang out and play Wii. I’m so happy that I up and joined a playgroup right away, because I’ve met some really awesome chicks.

Alan … poor Alan … I don’t think he’s that great at being in a social setting with 4 loud and obnoxious women - he was drinking with the boys and ended up laughing so hard at something someone said that I think some of his beer came out his nose. Something I would do actually, lol. We got past it and played several sessions of Wii sports and some shooting game.

I really would LOVE a Wii now. There are so many options in gaming for it, but the price .. PLUS, Alan wants a PS3 and that’s a ton of money also. Ain’t happening any time soon.

Alan woke up wanting a “quarter pounder with cheese” for breakfast (yeah, I let him sleep in until noon) so I say, ok … get me some nuggets. And some fries. And a double cheeseburger with just meat cheese and mayo. He brought me a Sprite also - good man ;) Now we are all eating lunch/breakfast and watching the cartoon dvd Horton Hears a Who. We seriously need some more video and audio racks for all the entertainment we’ve collected over the years!
